I don’t want my posts to be dismissed because you find them unrelatable, so I’ve chosen to remain anonymous. I’m not blogging for fame or fortune, I’m blogging because I have some real, honest, and raw things to share with you, and the belief that we can help each other.<\/span><\/p>\n

Instead of turning you off (or on) by my gender, race and beliefs, I’d like to appeal to your humanity. That’s it. I assume you’re a human being, and not some animal or alien whose been trained to read, and I’d like to start there.<\/span><\/p>\n

Over time, I\u2019m sure you\u2019ll find the clues you need to form an opinion about who\u2019s writing all this.\u00a0 In the beginning, it\u2019s not important.\u00a0 My goal in this project is to show you who I am, garner relationships, and find a way to form a human collective of acceptance and innovation.\u00a0 I\u2019m putting myself out there for you and for us.<\/span><\/p>\n

Each post is my own and, while I\u2019m not seeking fame, should you choose to share something through the numerous communication channels we find available to us these days, jenxwakes.com would appreciate a reference.\u00a0 Let\u2019s face it, if I\u2019ve posted something thought provoking, insightful, and or meaningful enough that you feel the need to let people know it\u2019s out there, it\u2019s only fair to let people know where it came from.<\/span><\/p>\n

This blog site has one author, but many characters.\u00a0 I\u2019m opening the pages of my journal for the world to see, knowing I can\u2019t take anything back once it\u2019s hit the interweb.\u00a0 Some days I will sound angry, some days happy, some days sad and, most of the time, opinionated \u2013 just like real life.\u00a0 I do not have all of the facts, all of the time, but when I do, I will drop a reference.\u00a0 I am about valuing life, and I\u2019ll show you that I get you, but I encourage everyone who reads these posts to follow through on your own stuff in the real world, with someone or something you can look in the eye.\u00a0 My only aspiration is that my truth sparks the flame of acceptance, dialogue and healing.\u00a0 We humans need that, or we\u2019re all fucked.\u00a0<\/span><\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"
